This roadmap lists what we intend to do next on SEO for LLM, and says plainly what is not done yet. It carries no deadlines we cannot keep.
Done
- Two guides for each of 15 AI engines, plus a tracker page per engine with a review date and change log.
- A robots.txt audit of 100 sites for 20 AI-related crawlers, with raw data.
- A first count of AI-bot requests in our own server log.
Next
- Citation tests. Ten fixed questions asked in each engine, results recorded with date and screenshot. Until they run, guides say "not run yet".
- Repeat the robots.txt audit to see how block rates move. The new snapshot will be added next to the first, never replacing it.
- Longer server-log history. The log starts on 29 October 2026, so every count is small today. We will keep publishing the counts, including zeros.
- Re-review of each engine's official documentation, with changes logged on its tracker page.
- Short notes between big guides: a changed crawler page, a renamed product, a new report in a webmaster tool.
How updates are handled
When a guide changes in substance, its "last updated" date changes and the tracker page records what changed. Small typo fixes do not change the date. You can follow the changes on the updates page or by subscribing to the newsletter.
