Updates and Revisions: How SEO for LLM Guides Stay Current

AI engines change their documentation, crawlers and reports often, so guides on this site are revised when the underlying facts move.

How revisions work

  • Each guide carries its publication date, and its engine has a tracker with a dated change log.
  • A guide is revised when an engine changes its documentation, renames a product or adds a report, or when our own data changes.
  • The date shown on a guide is the date of its latest substantive revision. Small wording edits do not move it.

Where to follow changes

The updates page lists every change in date order and offers a feed. The roadmap shows what is planned next.

Suggest an update

If a fact in a guide has changed, send the page and a source through the contact page.

What counts as a revision

A revision changes what a reader would do or believe: a crawler is renamed, a control is added or removed, a report changes what it shows, or one of our own figures is replaced by a newer measurement. Wording edits and layout changes are not revisions, and they leave the date alone.

How we notice changes

We reread the official pages cited in each guide on a schedule that differs by engine, shown as the next review date on its tracker. Our robots.txt audit and server-log count are repeated over time, and each new snapshot is added beside the previous one so readers can compare them.

What a revision looks like

Every revision appears in three places: the guide itself, the change log on the engine's tracker, and the updates page. The same date appears in all three, so a reader can tell at a glance how current a page is.
